The Grand Casino Brussels VIAGE is looking for a Demi-Chef de Partie (M/F/X) to strengthen its kitchen team. Do you have solid experience as a commis and aspire to take on more responsibilities? Join our brigade and grow your skills in a dynamic and prestigious setting!
Your Responsibilities:
* Ensure mise en place, preparation, plating, and garnishing of dishes
* Perform the same tasks as the Chef de Partie and assist them in their duties
* Ensure service in the staff canteen.
* Coordinate and supervise commis and kitchen assistants
* Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP)
* Guarantee the quality and presentation of dishes served
* Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth service
Your Profile:
* Proven experience in the kitchen, ideally as a Premier Commis
* Ability to work under pressure and in a team
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Strong leadership and mentoring abilities for commis
* Flexible and available for variable shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
* Knowledge of hygiene and food safety regulations
