For our spectacular production ALEGRIA in Knokke, we are looking for a dedicated and energetic Chef to join our backstage culinary team.
Job Description:
As a Chef at Cirque du Soleil, youll be a key part of our culinary crew, responsible for preparing high-quality hot and cold meals for our artists and staff. Youll work closely with your team to ensure every dish is made with precision and carefrom Wednesday to Sunday. Additionally, you'll be involved in setting up the kitchen facilities starting July 19, in preparation for the show's premiere on July 25.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing a wide variety of hot and cold meals in both small and large quantities.
2. Following recipes with precision.
3. Strictly following HACCP food safety standards.
4. Keeping your workspace spotless and organized
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef who thrives in a dynamic environment.
You bring:
5. Experience in a professional kitchen.
6. Solid knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients.
7. Strong understanding and application of HACCP food safety principles.
8. Excellent communication skills in English.
9. A proactive, motivated attitude and strong sense of initiative.
10. Full-time availability from July 18 to August 24.
11. Independent transportation to and from Knokke. There is no reliable public transport to the worklocation.
