As Chef de Partie, you’ll play a vital role in bringing a diverse and dynamic menu to life, working alongside talented chefs in a high-energy, collaborative kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
* Take full ownership of a designated section (hot, cold, grill, pastry, or prep), ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
* Prepare, cook, and present world-inspired sharing plates according to restaurant standards and recipes
* Support daily mise en place and service prep, maintaining efficient and organized workstations
* Manage stock levels, control waste, and assist with daily ordering and inventory for your section
* Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and restaurant standards (HACCP or equivalent)
* Work closely with Sous Chef and Head Chef, contributing to menu evolution and sharing ideas for specials
* Guide and train junior team members, fostering a culture of cooperation and passion for cooking
* Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house to ensure seamless and timely service
* Participate in regular kitchen cleaning, deep cleans, and end-of-shift checks
* Stay curious and open to learning; embrace the restaurant’s philosophy of celebrating global flavors and sharing
What You Bring
* Previous experience as a CDP or strong Commis Chef in a fast-paced, quality-focused restaurant
* Passion for cooking and exploring flavors from around the world—creative mindset and solid technique
* Ability to manage your section efficiently during busy shifts
* Strong sense of teamwork, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence
* Basic kitchen management skills: stock control, labeling, rotation, and hygiene best practices
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; reliable, punctual, and ready to learn
