Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Restaurant Manager/Restaurant Manager based in Hong Kong SAR. The role involves overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction, managing team members, and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities include handling customer needs, maintaining high operational standards, driving team performance, developing staff skills, and collaborating with other departments to meet business goals.
What you will be doing:
Manage and oversee day-to-day restaurant operations
Deliver exceptional guest service and experience
Monitor budgeted food sales, beverage sales and labour costs consistently to remain within budget and maximize the revenue
Assist to manage P&L and provide strategies to drive the sales
Consistently look for ways to improve the overall running and management of the outlets to improve the guest experience and service quality
Hire, train and develop new and existing staff
Build a cohesive team that excels in service
Oversee weekly schedule and ensure staffing is optimal to operation needs
Ensure hygiene and cleanliness are maintained according to required standards
Handle guests' enquiries and complaints
Promote and Strong the brand of the restaurant
What we are looking for:
Degree in Hospitality or a related discipline.
Minimum 2+ years of managerial experience in F&B group or hotel restaurant.
At least 5 years of experience in Michelin Star restaurants is a must.
Extensive knowledge of fine dining operations and service standards.
Chinese speaker is a must; proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage.
A motivational leader and a good team player with passion in F&B service.
Passionate about people and able to develop your team along with you.
Customer-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A good command of written and spoken English.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Restaurant Manager role.
