About the Job As Head of Store Design, Planning & Construction, you’ll lead our European store planning, design, and construction function for Levi’s retail, outlet, franchise, and wholesale environments. You’ll own the end-to-end strategy, design governance, construction oversight, vendor management, and financial stewardship of the store rollout pipeline. Acting as a cross-functional leader, the position ensures every new store reflects the brand vision, delivers operational excellence, and opens on time and on budget whilst deliver exceptional consumer experiences across the EU cluster. We’re looking for a seasoned leader who can balance creative design, technical execution, and financial discipline, while managing an internal team and a wide network of external partners across multiple geographies, layered with a deep knowledge and passion for store design, technical construction and strategic leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead the European Store Development function — overseeing store planning, design, and construction across Levi’s DTC, outlet, franchise, and wholesale environments. Manage and mentor a regional team of Project Managers, ensuring on-time, on-budget store openings aligned with brand and business goals. Drive design excellence by adapting global concepts to local market needs, while upholding brand standards and delivering exceptional consumer experiences. Oversee end-to-end project delivery, from feasibility and design to construction and fixture installation, across multiple markets. Own capital planning and budget management for all store development projects, driving cost efficiency and financial accountability. Partner cross-functionally with Real Estate, Finance, Merchandising, Operations, and Global Brand Experience to align store rollout with growth priorities. Lead vendor and fixture strategy, ensuring quality execution and optimal resource utilization across the region. Represent Store Development at senior leadership forums, providing strategic insights, performance updates, and risk assessments. Travel requirement: 30% across cluster About You 15 years of experience in store design, planning, and construction within retail, hospitality, or consumer-facing industries. Proven track record of delivering multi-site retail rollout programs (DTC wholesale/shop-in-shops) at scale. Strong understanding of architectural design, construction processes, and FF&E procurement. Experience managing large scale capex budgets and financial governance. Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing both internal teams and external vendors/partners. Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, able to interpret KPIs and turn insights into strategy. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leadership. Skilled in negotiation and adept at managing upwards to influence senior internal and external stakeholders. Proactive, energetic, and solutions-focused — brings a clear point of view, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Proficient in using design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign. Additional language skills are highly desirable (e.g., French, Spanish, German, Italian) This is a hybrid position based in our Brussels office. You will be expected to be in the office three days per week, though time in office may vary depending on business needs. The expected starting salary range for this role is € 86,300.00 - € 115,000.00 per year.
