Role : Database Debugging Expert (ClickHouse & MSSQL)
Location –Belgium
Remote Work: Hybrid (2-3 working days in a week)
Office location- Brussels office
Start date – Immediate
Duration – 2 Months with possibility of extension
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure database stability, performance, and integrity during and after the OneFab v11 upgrade, focusing on ClickHouse and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
* Troubleshoot and optimize ClickHouse clusters for high-performance analytics.
* Diagnose and resolve MS SQL Server issues related to schema migration, indexing, and query performance.
* Validate backup and restore strategies for both databases.
* Monitor replication, failover, and HA configurations.
* Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure proper storage and connectivity for DB services.
* Analyze logs and metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Advanced knowledge of ClickHouse architecture, query optimization, and cluster management.
* Strong experience with MS SQL Server administration and performance tuning.
* Familiarity with backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning.
* Ability to troubleshoot connectivity and integration issues with external systems.
* Proficiency in monitoring tools and interpreting database performance metrics.
