Areal is building the future of immersive audio through custom hardware and software. From the biggest festival stages to the most personal devices, our technology delivers the most natural, immersive sound experience. We are entering an exciting growth phase and are looking for a Technical Sales Manager (Pre & Post Sales) who can combine technical expertise with commercial drive. This role is central to expanding our presence across Europe and beyond and shaping how customers experience our technology. This is not a “sit back and wait” role. You’ll be actively involved in building our network, presenting our solutions at trade shows, and making sure customers get the most out of our products.
Responsibilities
* Manage your own customer accounts and build long-term relationships
* Respond to inbound leads and explore new opportunities
* Deliver technical demos and product presentations (online & in person)
* Support tradeshows and industry events across Europe and beyond
* Host customer trainings and workshops with confidence
* Provide pre- and post-sales support to ensure customer success
* Contribute to marketing by writing case studies, white papers, and basic technical content
* Keep track of opportunities and activities in our CRM system
* Be flexible to support the team wherever needed in a scale-up environment
Required skills
* 3–6 years of experience in a sales or technical sales role
* Strong understanding of audio technology (audio engineering, networking, signal flow, etc.).
* Proven track record in sales, with the ability to both manage accounts and generate new leads
* Excellent demo and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences
* Ability to translate technical features into clear business value
* Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot, Monday, Odoo,...)
* Strong communication skills: fluent English (required) and Dutch (preferred)
* Willingness to travel frequently
* Proactive, flexible, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment
