We have an opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst at a European Institution in Brussels (50% onsite).
NATURE OF TASKS
• Analysis of Business requirements.
• Documentation of Business requirements.
• Business model analysis.
• Business process analysis
• Business processes modelling.
• Functional requirements and business cases analysis.
• Risk analysis.
• Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters and Security Plans.
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE AND TECHNOLOGIES
* At least 1 year of experience with information systems.
* At least 1 year of experience with administrative business processes in large organisations.
* At least 1 year of experience with analysis and modelling tools and techniques (e.g. use case diagrams, state diagrams, entity-relationship models, interaction diagrams).
* At least 1 year of experience with BPMN, UML, or other equivalent modelling standards.
* At least 1 year of experience with Wiki platforms and collaborative tools.
* At least 1 year of experience with software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile, PRINCE2, PM²).
KNOWLEDGE AND (NON-TECHNICAL) SKILLS
* Rapid self-starting capability.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong ability to prepare and write business analysis documentation.
* Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
* Strong presentation skills, including the ability to deliver high-level presentations.
* Excellent critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to assess alternative solutions.
