Responsibilities
1. Lead the year-end cycle for the assigned population, including timeline management, manager guidance, and system follow-up.
2. Manage the FlexPlan Choice Window, ensuring employees and managers are informed and supported throughout the selection process.
3. Support the implementation of ongoing transformation initiatives at site level.
4. Provide structured follow-up on ongoing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), ensuring consistency, proper documentation, and effective manager coaching.
5. Manage and monitor long-term absence cases, coordinating with relevant stakeholders and ensuring compliance with local social legislation.
6. Develop and deliver training and awareness programmes on neurodiversity and inclusive people management for managers and employees.
7. Participate in awareness initiatives and events related to diversity, equity and inclusion, including activities linked to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
8. Coordinate employee recognition and seniority celebration events, including logistics, communication and stakeholder alignment.
9. Participate in and contribute to People & Culture community events and initiatives.
10. Support knowledge management and digital transition projects, ensuring smooth implementation and effective communication to employees and managers.
11. Prepare, identify relevant topics for, and present during People Manager Meetings, including communication of new frameworks, policies, and performance management guidelines.
12. Facilitate discussions and provide guidance to managers on people-related topics.
13. Testing and change communications. Lead through change - implementation is set for January 7
Requirements
14. Proven experience in an HR / People & Culture generalist or partner role
15. Solid knowledge of Belgian social legislation (employment law, absence management, social security frameworks)
16. Experience managing employee relations cases, including performance management and long-term absence
17. Strong data analysis capabilities with very good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
18. AI literate — comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of work
19. Ability to navigate and work across digital HR platforms and knowledge management systems
20. Confident presenting to and facilitating sessions with people managers and senior stakeholders
21. Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload without close day-to-day supervision
22. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
23. Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a high degree of professional judgment
