We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Manager to lead a dedicated quality team in a high-tech manufacturing environment. In this role, you will ensure that quality systems are implemented effectively, new customer-designed products are smoothly transferred into production, and ongoing processes meet the highest standards of compliance, safety, and performance.
You’ll work closely with global quality leadership, engineering, production, and customers to maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and implement quality strategies in collaboration with global leadership.
* Oversee the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, and processes aligned with internal and external regulations.
* Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g. ISO 13485, AS9100, EU MDR).
* Manage quality metrics, conduct management reviews, and oversee complaint handling, CAPA investigations, and change control processes.
* Support new product transfers into manufacturing and provide quality engineering support throughout the product lifecycle.
* Lead audits and inspections, and coordinate responses to findings.
* Serve as the point of contact for customer escalations and quality agreements.
Your Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
* 8+ years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical devices, pharma, aerospace, or similar).
* 3+ years in a direct people management role.
* Strong knowledge of QMS standards and regulatory requirements.
* Proven experience with CAPA, Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and data analysis (Excel, Minitab).
* Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
