The Purchasing function is based on an agile and international organization that contributes to the transformation and to the Group’s economic performance. The main objective consists in providing economic leverages, in offering added-value, innovative and total cost of ownership solutions, and in combining risk management and customer-oriented approach. The Business Buyer is responsible for the completeness of the purchasing process and meets the purchasing needs, optimizing and challenging the requirements provided by the internal stakeholders.
He/she optimizes the amount of expenses of the entity for which he/she is the main contact on all the purchasing categories and/or addressed scope.
Its role is to become a business partner for its entity through value creation and efficiency.
Main Activities and Tasks:
* Collects and monitors the purchasing needs of its entity, optimizes and challenges the stakeholder view
* Participates in the definition of the requirements by coordinating the needs of the different stakeholders
* Deploy the Group purchasing strategy and process of each of the purchasing categories
* Respects the list of Group referenced suppliers and deploy the Group agreements
* Manages the purchases and orders of his/her entity
* Builds analyses and diagnoses of expenses
* Conducts the Requests for Proposals in relation with the stakeholders
* Advises the stakeholders in the choice of the purchasing method
* Leads commercial and contractual negotiations
* Is involved in the qualitative monitoring of the execution of the negotiated contracts and related services, managed by the business owners
* Leads the stakeholders
* Is responsible for the completeness and quality of supplier information in the Purchasing Information System, if any
In relation with the CAPFM International Purchasing Manager
* Identifies within his/her entity the RFP that may be consolidated with other entities and communicates them to the CAPFM International Purchasing
* Participates to the half-year International Purchasing Committee
* Shares the spending report by supplier by purchasing category each quarter
* Shares the performance indicators and KPIs
* Presents the purchasing recommendations to the CAPFM purchasing decision committee for approval, according to the defined thresholds
