Sarens isstrengthening and expanding its global Microsoft D365 platform. To support this growth, we are looking for an experienced D365 Manager & Solution Architect who combines strong people leadership with deep Microsoft D365 expertise.
In this position, you will lead a team of D365 experts, foster a high‑performance culture, and set the architectural direction for our global D365 F&O template. You will work across countries and teams, drive harmonization, and help Sarens fully leverage the Microsoft ecosystem.

1. Lead, coach, and develop a team of D365 experts, ensuring efficient operations and continuous growth.
2. Assign team members to product improvements (Product Owner) or rollout activities (Project Managers).
3. Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and an open, innovative team environment.
4. Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, standard D365 F&O solutions.
5. Guard the global D365 template by minimizing customizations and non‑essential local deviations.
6. Design how the localization of a new entity should be implemented (and select a local partner/consultant when needed)
7. Ensure strong second‑line support and provide documentation and training for first‑line teams in India.
8. Promote cross‑team collaboration with developers, product owners, and project managers.
9. Train and coach colleagues to grow into D365 FO specialists. Set clear goals, track performance, and provide structured feedback.
10. Assess when solutions should be built outside D365.
11. Align architecture with other domains (CRM, Custom Apps, Integrations…) for end‑to‑end compatibility.
12. Act as subject‑matter expert and stay current with D365 developments.
13. Identify opportunities to improve processes using new platform capabilities.
14. Review Microsoft Platform Updates, decide on feature enablement, and identify potential to replace customizations.
15. Organize and oversee PU validation.
16. Maintain, improve, and enforce functional and technical guidelines and best practices.

22. Work location: Sarens Headquarters, Autoweg 10, 1861 Wolvertem. The candidate can also be employed in Spain under Spanish contract, with monthly travel to Belgium HQ.
