We are currently looking for a Business Analyst – Risk & Credits for one of our clients in the banking sector.
Your responsibilities:
You will join the Testudo Squad, which manages and evolves a central datastore used for reporting, risk analysis, modeling, and regulatory monitoring.
* Maintain and enhance the central data model (Testudo).
* Profile and analyze data to understand its structure and quality.
* Define mapping and transformation rules to integrate source data into the target model.
* Collaborate with developers to ensure correct implementation of specifications.
* Participate in testing phases and ensure high-quality production releases.
* Support the data steward in monitoring and improving data quality.
* Provide second- and third-line support to internal users (back office, reporting teams, Risk & Credits).
Your profile:
* University or higher education degree (mathematics, economics, or IT preferred).
* At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst, ideally within banking/financial environments.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to work in complex environments and with large-scale data models.
* Proven experience with SQL and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
* Solid skills in testing and functional/technical analysis.
* Experience working in an agile environment is required.
* Knowledge of credit and/or risk processes is a strong asset.
Technical skills (mandatory):
* SQL expertise, functional/technical analysis, testing capabilities.
Technical skills (preferred):
* Knowledge of Oracle, Sybase IQ, Informatica ETL, or Linux.
* Programming notions (ability to discuss code with developers).
Languages:
* Dutch and/or French: fluent/good in speaking & understanding, at least basic in writing.
* English: fluent in writing, good in speaking & understanding.
