We are looking for a European Marketing Lead Axial Spondyloarthritis who is strategic, collaborative, and analytically driven to join us in our EU Immunology Operations / Marketing team at UCB Pharma.
This role offers flexibility in location and the possibility to work in any European country including but not limited to Belgium, UK, Germany, France, Italy, or Spain.
About the role
The European Marketing Lead Axial Spondyloarthritis (axSpA) is responsible for driving the Bimzelx axSpA strategy and execution across Europe. This role leads EU-level marketing solutions, shapes strategic priorities through deep cross-European insights, and ensures alignment with global strategy and positioning. It requires strong subject-matter expertise, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate complex market dynamics into impactful commercial execution.
Who you’ll work with
You will collaborate closely with the EU Immunology Operations Team, including Rheumatology and Psoriatic Arthritis leads, as well as cross-indication and cross-portfolio colleagues.
You will also partner with global Product Strategy Leadership Teams, country commercial teams, medical, market access, and patient value functions. Externally, you will engage with key opinion leaders, scientific associations, and patient groups to shape the European axSpA approach.
What you’ll do
• Lead EU axSpA insight generation and translate into strategic execution priorities
• Support global strategy and positioning with deep EU market knowledge
• Co-lead EU Patient Value Tactical Plan across medical, commercial and access
• Guide countries in implementing Bimzelx axSpA plans and engagement strategy
• Drive EU-wide initiatives ensuring customer-first omnichannel execution
• Adapt global initiatives for European context and multi-country delivery
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in healthcare commercial or medical roles
• Experience in specialty pharma/biologics; EU or multi-country exposure preferred
• Minimum 2 years of project leadership in matrix environments
• Strong immunology marketing expertise and omnichannel experience
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical, communication, and execution skills
• Experience in rheumatology or axSpA is an advantage
• Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are considered a strong plus
