Our client is a leading organization in the pharmaceutical sector seeking a consultant to drive strategic procurement and AI integration. The role focuses on optimizing sourcing processes and managing complex supplier relationships through advanced technological solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategic integration of AI and Agentic AI within procurement to enhance external intelligence and competitive benchmarking.
Develop executive-level presentations and strategic reports for senior leadership.
Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, negotiations, bid analysis, and purchase order management.
Collaborate with global category managers to develop and implement long-term procurement strategies.
Enhance team efficiency by developing PowerBI dashboards and consolidating operational data.
Conduct market trend analysis and competitive bidding to identify cost‑saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
Provide autonomous guidance on strategic initiatives and resolve complex issues within the procurement scope.
Qualifications
You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
You bring 8+ years of relevant experience in procurement and buying, ideally within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
You possess advanced expertise in AI and LLMs such as Copilot , Claude , or Gemini , including advanced prompting techniques.
You have experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP , and are proficient in PowerBI and PowerPoint .
You bring a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory environment, compliance, and healthcare laws.
You're highly organized with strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
You are fluent in English and Dutch .

Experience providing support for RFP processes.
Proven track record in delivering innovative solutions for global category strategies.
