Overview
At Dornan we are currently recruiting for a Commissioning Lead / Manager to work on a hyperscale datacentre project based in Mons, Belgium. This role will be a 3-6 fixed term contract.
Responsibilities
* Provide expertise regarding the overall project commissioning processes and deliver commissioned and operational M&E systems to clients.
* Attend meetings with clients, sub-contractors, and project teams, offering support and assistance on M&E system delivery.
* Coordinate with all other trades on site to ensure a smooth commissioning process.
* Identify test equipment that may be required.
* Manage sub-contractor testing and commissioning, carry out witness testing with subcontractors, and review documentation.
* Assist in writing and reviewing Commissioning and Testing RAMS.
* Conduct quality control inspections on project sites during pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.
* Ensure contractor commissioning activities are properly coordinated and completed on time to required quality standards.
* Analyse and quickly resolve any problems that arise and ensure deficiencies are corrected in a timely manner.
* Maintain detailed and accurate commissioning site reports.
* Ensure applicable project team personnel have the required EHS training to carry out commissioning activities.
What we are looking for
* Either mechanically or electrically qualified.
* Strong knowledge of Cx practices.
* Datacentre experience required.
* Experience communicating project progress to key stakeholders (e.g., project director, client, architects, engineers).
* Ability to prioritise workload.
* Must have an EU passport / Right to work in Belgium.
