AmCham EU speaks for American companies committed to Europe on trade, investment and competitiveness issues. It aims to ensure a growth-orientated business and investment climate in Europe. AmCham EU facilitates the resolution of transatlantic issues that impact business and plays a role in creating better understanding of EU and US positions on business matters. Aggregate US investment in Europe totalled more than €4 trillion in 2023, directly supports more than 4.6 million jobs in Europe, and generates billions of euros annually in income, trade and research and development.
Job Description
AmCham EU is looking to recruit a full-time management intern for a period of 6 months.
The management intern will directly report to the Executive Adviser to the CEO.
This role offers unique exposure to executive-level coordination, stakeholder engagement, and high-level event and meeting preparation within one of Brussel’s leading business associations. The successful candidate should be highly organised and motivated to provide operational and administrative support to the Executive Adviser to the CEO and CEO. The successful candidate will work closely to support with CEO meetings and engagements, internal governance processes and day-to-day executive operations.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience Required:
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient computer literacy skills (particularly in the Microsoft Office Suite)
* High attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Genuine interest in European affairs and/or international relations
Languages: Fluent English (both written and spoken); another EU language an advantage, especially French.
Contract: This management intern will be under the Belgian CIP contract ( convention d’immersion professionnelle) scheme.
