Job Description
You will be dedicated to emission and energy efficiency test cell work as described:
Start-up and shutdown of facilities:
* Chassis Dyno control systems (warm-up and preparation)
* Engine ECU data acquisition equipment
* Exhaust gas analysis and acquisition equipment
* Perform "safety check" before testing (follow check sheets)
* Install/exchange gas bottles for analyzers
* Support consumption follow-up and daily/weekly clean-up
Vehicle preparation:
* Install acquisition equipment to full operational state
* Drain and refill fuel tank with correct test fuel
* Connect devices and power sources to guarantee no data loss
Emission tests:
* Install car on dyno with additional measuring equipment (smoke, opacity, SOx analyser, data acquisition, etc.)
* Prepare emission test analyser, chassis dyno and test cell temperature
* Perform emission tests on different driving cycles and Coast down
* Ensure data availability on ECU and chassis dyno systems
* Complete daily chassis dyno occupation documents
* Conduct performance tests in Climatic Chamber (various temperatures)
Shift work: Daytime / Eveningtime
Qualifications
Your Profile:
* Valuable experience in similar working area and automotive workshop
* Vocational training in Automotive, Mechanics, or similar (highly valuable)
* Experience in basic vehicle maintenance (wheels, brakes, battery & fluids)
* Work independently, organized, proactive and resolutive
* Team oriented
* MS-Office basic level
Languages:
* Minimum B2 English level
* Added value if other language
