Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze the Safety Case and associated safety requirements (including Hazard Analysis, FMEA, FTA, etc.)Derive V&V strategy and activities in compliance with EN50128 (software for railway control and protection systems)Develop, write, and maintain Verification & Validation PlansDefine and produce test strategies, test specifications, and detailed test cases based on safety requirementsEnsure full traceability between safety requirements, test cases, and verification resultsExecute or supervise testing activities (unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing)Review design, architecture, and code documentation to ensure compliance with safety standardsParticipate in safety reviews, audits, and assessmentsIdentify non-conformities and manage corrective actionsContribute to the production of V&V reports and safety evidence documentationCollaborate with system, software, and safety engineers to ensure consistent interpretation of requirements
Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Software, Systems, or related field)Proven experience in railway signalling or safety-critical systemsStrong knowledge of EN50128 / EN50129 / EN50126 standardsExperience working from a Safety Case to derive test plans and V&V activitiesSolid understanding of the V-model lifecycleExperience in writing test plans, test procedures, and validation reportsFamiliarity with requirements management and traceability tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion, Jama)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsFluent in French & English (written and spoken)
