This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an SEO Specialist (Local Search) in Belgium. This role offers the opportunity to lead local search initiatives across multiple locations in competitive markets, driving measurable inbound lead growth. You will take full ownership of Google Business Profiles, local landing pages, citation management, and technical SEO to maximize visibility and performance. The position emphasizes hands-on strategy execution, data-driven optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with product, marketing, and operations teams. You will focus on outcomes rather than activity reports, translating insights into actionable improvements that directly impact business performance. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys turning local search strategy into tangible results. You will also influence multi-location SEO standards, content approaches, and performance tracking methods to ensure scalable and repeatable success. Accountabilities: Own and optimize Google Business Profiles across multiple locations, improving local pack rankings, map visibility, and branded search presence. Build, optimize, and maintain location-specific landing pages for both SEO performance and lead conversion. Manage citation infrastructure, ensuring NAP consistency and local authority signals at scale. Conduct technical SEO audits and resolve issues affecting crawlability, indexation, site performance, and Core Web Vitals. Develop and execute content strategies targeting high-intent local searches, including blogs, headers, schema markup, and internal linking. Track and report local search performance, connecting SEO activities to inbound lead generation, and continuously refine strategies based on data. Requirements: 4 years of hands-on SEO experience, with strong focus on local and multi-location search. Proven expertise managing Google Business Profiles across multiple locations and competitive industries. Strong technical SEO skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently. Experience building and optimizing local landing pages for rankings and conversions. Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. Comfortable working during EST business hours for collaboration with internal teams. Nice to have: experience in Canadian markets, call tracking/lead attribution tools, CRO, real estate industry experience, and exposure to AI-assisted SEO workflows.
