Assignments
We are looking for an engineer to lead rapid problem resolution and product performance improvements for one of our clients in the automotive/high-tech industry.
Your main responsibilities include:
* Receiving and analyzing product complaints from the field, diagnosing errors and debugging issues
* Leading investigations and coordinating cross-functional teams to resolve product issues
* Collaborating with suppliers when third-party components are involved
* Acting as the liaison between production, quality, development, and suppliers to ensure rapid solutions
* Preparing documentation, including summaries and detailed records in Jira or similar systems
The profile
Background
You hold a degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with experience in problem-solving roles involving products, production, or quality.
Must Have
* Strong analytical and hands-on problem-solving skills
* Experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, reactive environment
* Familiarity with task and issue tracking tools such as Jira
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to interact effectively with design, development, and supplier teams
Nice to Have
* Experience in automotive, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing industries
* Previous exposure to warranty or field complaint management
* Knowledge of continuous improvement or root cause analysis methodologies
