Description Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Aimbridge Hospitality . The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc. The Ghent Marriott Hotel is entering an exciting new chapter, with continued growth, strong brand positioning and ambitious operational goals. To support this journey, we are looking for a driven and hands-on Hotel Manager to lead the day-to-day performance of the hotel and elevate the guest experience to the next level. A behind-the-scenes look at your role As Hotel Manager, you will be at the heart of the hotel, overseeing all operational departments including Food & Beverage. You will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hotel while driving service excellence and financial performance. You will work closely with the General Manager and department heads to translate strategic objectives into operational action plans, ensuring alignment with Marriott brand standards and Aimbridge performance expectations. You’ll take ownership of the overall guest journey, continuously monitoring feedback and implementing improvements to enhance satisfaction and loyalty. In the absence of the General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the hotel’s operations, acting as the key decision-maker on property. You will also play a key role in building, developing and motivating department heads and their teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance. Leading daily hotel operations across all departments, including F&B Implementing and optimizing standard operating procedures to ensure operational consistency and efficiency Driving financial performance, cost control and revenue opportunities Monitoring guest feedback and taking proactive actions to improve satisfaction Supporting and coaching Heads of Department in team management and team development Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and legal requirements Managing workforce planning and ensuring optimal staffing levels Collaborating with senior stakeholders on strategic and operational initiatives Building a strong service culture focused on excellence and guest experience Competitive salary, DKV insurance, transport reimbursement, meal & eco vouchers, training, career growth & up to 50% hotel discounts. 70000-80000 euro/annum This company is an equal opportunity employer. frnch1
