Mission.
As Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional initiatives that ensure the company’s life insurance products, systems, and processes comply with evolving regulatory requirements (e.g., Solvency II, IDD, ESG, AML). You will act as a bridge between business, compliance, and IT teams to deliver compliant, efficient, and customer-centric solutions.

Responsibilities during the mission:
– Project Leadership & Delivery
6. Manage end-to-end delivery of regulatory projects related to life insurance products, systems and processes, from scoping to implementation.
7. Define project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource
8. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including core business, legal, compliance, actuarial, and IT.
– Regulatory Translation & Impact Analysis
9. Translate regulatory requirements into actionable business and technical requirements.
10. Assess impacts on products, processes, and systems, and propose mitigation strategies.
– Product & Process Adaptation
11. Collaborate with product owners to adapt life insurance offerings in line with new regulations.
12. Ensure customer journeys, documentation, and disclosures meet compliance standards and respect guidelines on product oversight and governance (POG) Risk & Compliance Alignment
13. Liaise with compliance and risk teams to validate project scope and deliverables.
14. Monitor regulatory timelines and ensure timely execution of required changes.
– Reporting & Communication
15. Provide regular updates to senior management and regulatory bodies when needed.
16. Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and internal governance committees.
Required profile.
17. Proven experience in project or product management within life insurance or financial services
18. Strong understanding of life insurance products and Belgian/EU regulatory frameworks (e.g., FSMA, NBB, Solvency II, IDD)
19. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
20. Fluent in French (Dutch is a plus), with professional proficiency in English
21. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) is a plus
22. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects related to commercial & distribution matters in a Life Insurance context on time and within budget.
