As a Credit & Collection Specialist at Hilti, you play a key role in managing credit risk and supporting our sales teams in Belgium and Luxembourg. You ensure a smooth and compliant Order-to-Cash process, contribute to DSO reduction, and act as a trusted partner for both internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic, international environment.

What You'll do

1. Report to the Credit & Collection Manager and support operations in Belgium & Luxembourg, with local and international exposure in a dynamic, matrix organization;
2. Ensure compliance with corporate and local credit policies while actively contributing to DSO reduction and AR aging objectives;
3. Assess customer credit risk, recommend payment terms, and raise financial awareness with the sales team;
4. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to address customer issues, order releases, and credit risks;
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and compliant Order-to-Cash process;
6. Monitor credit exposure, manage order holds, and negotiate credit terms when needed;
7. Maintain credit policies, procedures, and records to meet internal and external audit requirements;
8. Serve as a key member of the Credit & Collection team, providing end-to-end credit and collection solutions;
9. Contact customers on outstanding balances, perform reconciliations, and support daily AR-related tasks.

What You’ll Bring

10. 0–2 years in credit, accounting, AR, audit, or controlling, with solid financial and credit risk knowledge;
11. Fluent in Dutch, French, and English with strong communication skills;
12. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Risk Management preferred; strong MS Office, SAP/BI a plus;
13. Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-changing, cross-functional environment;
14. Motivated to learn, grow, and contribute, with curiosity for finance, legal topics, and process improvement.
