As the CFO of Cohabs, you will oversee the financial operations and strategy across all our current and future international locations.
This is a high-stakes role that requires exceptional financial acumen, strategic leadership, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-country operations with a high growth pace while aligning with our investors' expectations.
Key responsibilities
* Partner with the CEO and the executive team to shape the company's overall strategic direction;
* Structure the company’s financial strategy to ensure sustainable growth and profitability;
* Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting;
* Oversee all financing activities: debt (senior and junior) and equity financing;
* Manage financial complexities associated with operating in multiple countries, including currency, taxation, and regulatory compliance;
* Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, ensuring transparent communication and alignment on financial goals;
* Structure, lead and mentor the finance team to optimize performance and foster professional growth;
* Ensure effective cost management while maintaining operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar high-level financial leadership role;
* Expertise in multi-country financial management, including knowledge of international regulations and tax systems;
* Strong background in fundraising, bank & investor relations, and capital management;
* Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights;
* Leadership and team-building capabilities in fast-paced, scale-up environment;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
