Strategy and Transformation Director – Industries

Responsibilities
* Lead development and execution of strategy services in Brussels, driving business development by spotting market opportunities and leading client discussions.
* Manage projects, coordinate multiple strategy and transaction engagements, and motivate the team to work collaboratively.
* Supervise, coach, and mentor all levels of staff within and outside of the project context.
* Deliver high client satisfaction with engagement process and work products, fostering additional and repeated engagements.
* Identify strategic opportunities, risks, and issues, recommending effective resolutions.
* Demonstrate advanced knowledge of strategy development and implementation phases.
* Determine new target operating models and organization designs.
* Support clients in achieving sustainable performance and improvements.
* Create customized change‑management strategies, roadmaps, and implement change‑management activities across project phases.
* Anticipate organizational changes and design required communications interventions.
* Influence stakeholders to achieve business goals and analyze impact of process/system changes upstream and downstream.
* Analyze cost structures and develop cost‑reduction or performance‑improvement programs.
* Collaborate to develop business cases, roadmap implementation, and improvement of operational processes regionally or globally.
* Assist in organization transformation, building internal process expertise.
* Develop integration or carve‑out strategies and execute detailed planning across business and group functions.
Qualifications
* 11–14 years of experience in a strategy advisory firm and/or corporate strategy.
* Master’s degree in civil, bio‑ or business engineering, economics, or an MBA (strong asset).
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to shape business agendas and define strategic roadmaps.
* Experience managing complex business projects with multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong people and leadership skills, including cross‑functional collaboration and people development.
* Proficient business development acumen.
* Entrepreneurial spirit, teamwork, and excellent communication.
* Proficiency in English, Dutch, and/or French.
* Motivation to help grow EY’s consulting business in Belgium.
* Flexibility to undertake projects across Western Europe.
