As an Engineering Technician, you will be at the heart of optimizing the engine and module file process while supporting the Operations and Inspection departments. You will play a key role in both the logistical coordination and technical certification of aircraft engines. Your role: Your role has 2 major parts, optimizing the engine/module file process and will provide essential technical support for engine/module maintenance within the shop. You will be responsible for translating, executing, and following up on engine/module workscopes, ensuring they are carried out accurately. Proces optimilisation - You learn and lead, assisting the certifying staff in implementing and optimizing engine/module certification processes. - You organize and analyze, collecting documents and data to compile and structure the certification files according to applicable standards. - You improve and simplify, proposing enhancements to the certification process and making it more efficient across SAESB. - You collaborate widely, interacting with multiple stakeholders to ensure clarity, compliance, and timely delivery of certification files. - You amend existing work instructions in accordance with our Quality System. Workscoping & Technical Support Workscoping: - You prepare the engine/module induction and use information provided by the operations department to propose workscope evolutions during the shop visit. - You avoid workscope expansion and/or parts replacement. Technical Support: - You prepare technical reports for the customer and provide technical support to the operations department, making informed decisions on technical topics for operations. - You contribute to experience feedback and best practices activities to obtain expanded criteria and/or new repairs. - You support the quality department technically during quality surveys. Parlons de vous Your Profile - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a practical mindset and a solid understanding of mechanics, and ideally, knowledge of engines and engine components. - You are resourceful, creative, and eager to learn, with preferably up to 2 years of experience in a high-tech industrial or production environment. - You are cross-functional and collaborative, able to work effectively with diverse teams across the company. - You are structured and quality-driven, ensuring to effectively manage processes to meet the highest standards. - You are analytical, stress-resistant and deadline-minded, able to anticipate and solve problems with a critical eye. - You have excellent social & communication skills at all levels and can prove to be an excellent team player but also to cope autonomously. - You speak French or Dutch fluently and have an excellent command of English.
