We’re working with a young, fast-growing consultancy that's gaining traction in the supply chain tech world. They’ve built a strong partnership with OMP and are focused on developing a new wave of consultants with deep technical skills.
They’re looking for someone with a background in linear mathematics who’s interested in solving practical supply chain challenges. In this role, you’ll be trained on the OMP platform and work on building advanced planning models using solvers and constraint-based logic. It’s a hands-on position that blends math, tech, and real-world impact.
Responsibilities
* Use mathematical optimisation techniques to model supply chain scenarios in OMP
* Develop, configure, and validate solver-based models to support decision-making
* Learn the OMP platform and gain certifications as part of your onboarding
* Work closely with senior consultants and clients to understand planning requirements
* Translate real-world supply chain problems into functional models and equations
* Support ongoing enhancements, testing, and performance tuning of the models
* Collaborate with the OMP vendor and internal technical teams for knowledge-sharing and support
What We’re Looking For
* Functional knowledge of supply chain operations (planning, inventory, production, etc.)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Background in mathematics, operations research, industrial engineering, or similar
* Solid understanding of linear programming, constraint-based optimisation, or similar solver methods
* Willingness to learn and work hands-on with OMP (training provided)
* Effective communication skills, both technical and non-technical
