Job Description
As part of a team of 2-3 people, you play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between financial data analysis and clear reporting.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. In collaboration with the Project Managers, make sure the financials correctly reflect project advancement.
* Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide insights into the financial performance of the consolidated group.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for our real estate projects.
* Management control: Deliver and challenge country reports for Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, and France.
* Group Consolidation: Oversee the consolidation of financial data from our Legal Entities and business units to ensure accurate and timely group-wide financial & management reporting.
* Intercompany Transactions: Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and eliminations to prevent double counting and ensure accurate consolidated financial results.
* Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the consolidation process, often leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with real estate investments and projects.
* Coordination & Teamwork: Work closely with other departments, such as accounting, project management, technical and development teams, to ensure financial objectives are met.
Qualifications
* You have a university degree;
* You have at least 5 years of experience in auditing and/or financial control with initial experience in consolidation;
* You have operational knowledge of French, Dutch, and English;
* You have a positive mindset and you are rigorous, value attention to detail, are methodical, and have an analytical mind; you can manage stress and deadlines effectively;
* You enjoy working in a team;
* You are self-sufficient in achieving assigned objectives while prioritizing teamwork;
* You demonstrate a genuine interest in real estate development – real estate experience is considered as a plus
