This role demands not only technical expertise but also exceptional soft skills, discretion, and professionalism, given the prestigious and high-profile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day IT support to end users, including VIPs and high-ranking officials within the European Parliament.Handle incidents and service requests through Jira and ticketing systems in alignment with ITIL V4 Foundation standards.Support and troubleshoot within the Microsoft Azure environment.Offer both proactive and reactive support with a diplomatic and solutions-oriented approach.Ensure that all IT interventions are carried out with discretion, professionalism, and in adherence to formal protocol.Key RequirementsExperience: Minimum 3 to 4 years in IT support roles, ideally in high-level institutional or VIP environments.Technical Skills:Proficient with Jira, Azure, and general Microsoft environments.ITIL V4 Foundation Certified or equivalent experience.Soft Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Polished demeanor, diplomacy, and customer-oriented mindset.Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.Additional InformationOccasional travel to Strasbourg will be required to provide support at the secondary Parliament site.Formal dress code is mandatory both during the interview and on-site, in line with the institution's standards.Candidates with fewer years of experience (around 3 years) may still be considered if they demonstrate the right attitude, composure, and ability to work with VIP stakeholders.
