Strategic Product Manager (m/f/d) – Ward Automation – Pyxis ES Solutions
As a Product Manager, you champion BD’s Ward and Point of Care automation solutions for the MMS Hospital Automation Business. You will create and drive the commercial strategy for our automation and software offerings, supporting the EMEA region to meet strategic and financial targets.
Responsibilities
* Support implementation of the EMEA product portfolio strategies including value proposition, positioning, product promotion, pricing and portfolio lifecycle management.
* Develop market‑specific strategies and tactics with country marketing teams to position BD MMS Dispensing for success.
* Maintain expert market knowledge, including quantitative data (market data, trends, competitor offering) and qualitative data (customer needs, technologies, applications).
* Develop and implement new product launch campaigns, coordinating launch activities with relevant stakeholders.
* Serve as the main Subject Matter Expert for the Sales team, contributing to product training initiatives.
* Create promotional material/marketing collateral and tools that deliver key messages and reflect brand essence.
* Maintain a competitive intelligence database for the portfolio.
* Identify, evaluate and develop Key Opinion Leader (KOL) plans in conjunction with Clinical & Medical functions.
* Support market research activities (Voice of Customer) and Post Market Surveillance studies.
* Conduct regular customer visits to understand key market requirements and unmet needs.
* Support evaluation and prioritization of interfacing and integration requirements, and engage third parties for collaborations.
* Ensure budgets and schedules meet business requirements.
* Identify and articulate customer enhancement requests to the platform team.
Preferred Requirements
* Healthcare software marketing experience strongly preferred.
* Understanding of hospital workflows and medication management practice preferred.
* Ability to translate market complexities and clinical information into marketing strategies and programs.
* Market development competency with the ability to develop and implement clinical and economic value propositions.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Results focused.
* Accountability and willingness to make decisions.
* Self‑motivated with a desire for self‑development.
Additional Qualifications
* Strong strategic marketing skills, 5‑7 years, with demonstrated success in market development.
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Management.
* Degree in Pharmacy preferred.
* Experience launching new products, preferably software solutions.
* Fluent in English; additional major European language an advantage.
* Prepared to work away from home for up to 40% of the time.
