Description
As an Operator in our Production Department, you work at the heart of the glass manufacturing process. You start with a general training program covering all production stages. After training in day shift, you move into a 6-shift system, designed to support a healthy work–life balance.
You control and optimize the glass forming process, ensuring quality and efficiency as molten glass is formed into bottles.
Key Responsibilities
* Control gob systems, lehr and transport systems
* Adjust process parameters and monitor temperatures
* Prepare equipment for changeovers and replace refractory parts
* Clean and maintain installations and work areas
* Identify and report technical issues and deviations
* Perform quality checks (weight, heat, temperature)
* Record process data, mould numbers and settings
* Ensure proper shift handover

Profile
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Experience in a production environment, or strong motivation to gain such experience
* Willingness to follow training in day shifts at various training locations
* Comfortable working with computers
* Very good knowledge of English
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to support colleagues
* Flexibility in tasks, especially during the start-up phase
* No color blindness (essential for visual quality inspections of bottles)
* Willingness to work in a warm environment (with air-conditioned control rooms)
