As an Air Import Agent, you ensure the accurate, compliant, and timely handling of international air import shipments. You work in a structured, process-driven environment where customer service, operational precision, and teamwork are essential. This role serves as the entry point for a long-term logistics career, with clear internal growth opportunities toward Lead, Supervisor, and Manager positions.
* Manage the full operational flow of air import shipments from arrival to final delivery.
* Ensure accurate and timely data entry in internal systems, including proprietary tools and SAP.
* Track and trace shipments and proactively communicate updates to customers and internal teams.
* Follow daily workflows to maintain consistency and compliance.
* Coordinate timely delivery of freight to customers and partners.
* Prepare and send documentation required for customs clearance.
* Ensure accurate and timely billing to customers and service providers.
* Communicate professionally with customers to arrange international shipments and meet service expectations.
* Maintain strong relationships with airlines, trucking companies, and other logistics partners.
* Follow all internal procedures and comply with external regulations.
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within the department.
* Ensure customer SOPs are followed and updated when needed.
* Meet KPI standards as defined by company procedures.
* Maintain timely communication with overseas offices and partners.
Functie-eisen
* 6 months to 1 year of experience in logistics or airfreight, or equivalent education.
* Knowledge of air import documentation is an advantage.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to listen, understand, and respond clearly.
* Proactive mindset with strong organizational abilities.
* Solid computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* IATA certification is a plus.
* Fluent in English and Dutch.
* Eligible to work in Belgium.
* Reports to the Air Import Lead Agent, Supervisor, and Manager.

* Starting salary €3,000–€3,200 gross per month
