Your Role
As Initiative Owner, you are responsible for the end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives. You work closely with stakeholders from business, IT, and operational teams to ensure initiatives are successfully realized within the defined scope, timeline, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Define IT-Business Requirements
* Collaborate with experts to describe the customer journey and IT processes.
* Translate IT business needs into concrete EPICs and ensure high-quality requirements.
* Translate IT needs into business value.
✔ Draft a Delivery Plan
* Develop a clear project plan including budget, scope, timeline, and risk analysis.
* Align the plan with sponsors and stakeholders.

✔ Execute and Coordinate Initiatives
* Help determine which delivery teams need to be involved and when.
* Coordinate and monitor progress with Product Owners, Chief Product Owners, and relevant stakeholders inside and outside.
* Ensure timely delivery of outputs from all involved teams.
✔ Motivate and Mobilize
* Foster a solution-oriented mindset among stakeholders.
* Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the initiative.
* Encourage autonomy and problem-solving within the teams.
✔ Stakeholder Management
* Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure transparent communication and engagement of all parties.
* Escalate issues to the appropriate parties when needed to overcome obstacles.
✔ Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
* Monitor progress and report using lead and lag indicators.
* Evaluate the initiative and gather lessons learned for future improvements.
* Actively contribute to best practices .
✔ Lead Complex and Large-Scale Initiatives
* Take responsibility for initiatives with high business value and impact.
* Manage cross-functional projects involving multiple departments and partners.
* Coordinate initiatives with a broad scope and strategic relevance.
✔ Advanced Stakeholder Management
* Collaborate with executives and strategic stakeholders.
* Lead negotiations and secure buy-in at higher levels.
* Anticipate challenges and proactively resolve obstacles.
✔ Governance and Strategic Reporting
* Ensure alignment of initiatives with strategic objectives.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of initiative management in the organization.
* Implement improvement actions and optimize governance processes.
Your Profile
* Strong affinity with IT infrastructure.
* Knowledge of technical and risk/security aspects within the IT domain.
* Experience with (Agile) project management and functional team leadership.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills; solution-oriented.
* Result-driven and capable of structuring complex initiatives clearly.
* Experience in stakeholder management and building sustainable collaborations.
* Fluent in Dutch or French, with a good command of the second national language and English.
