Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Each day, you will coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of specific customer problems. You will also provide insights on market pricing trends and developments.s. This role will contribute to the Electrification Business Area, specifically within the Distribution Solu-tions Division across Belgium and Luxembourg. Main stakeholders will include key customers in utili-ties, industries, and infrastructure sectors. You will be mainly accountable for: •Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work growth actions. •Understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer’s business and business environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB. •Participating in the development of sales strategies for the account through providing current business and long-term plans for the customer. •Defining sales targets, giving input on market price developments monitoring competitors’ activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are implemented. The work model for the role is: LI-Hybrid.


Qualifications for the role

* Demonstrated experience in account management, sales or business development, in the electrifi-cation, or energy sector.
* A strong understanding of medium and low-voltage technologies and energy management sys-tems.
* 5+ years of experience in sales or account management in a technical or industrial field, with a fo-cus on building and managing long-term relationships.
* Ability to communicate effectively in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
* A degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
* A commercial mindset, with an ability to create value for both ABB and our customers, and manage multiple stakeholders.
