Division: Group Technology Services (GTS)
You will be part of the Enterprise System Monitoring team as a Senior IT Monitoring System Engineer. This team is within the Production Tribe of the Euroclear Group Technology Services division. The team is responsible for maintaining and supporting the core Production Monitoring infrastructure and its integration with local monitoring tools.
Role
As an Senior IT Monitoring System Engineer for Enterprise System Management, your responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring the daily follow-up of the monitoring infrastructure
2. Participating in the Day-to-Day service support (incident, alerts, changes, …)
3. Implementing monitoring scenarios/rules/dashboards according to initial end-user and technical specialist requirements
4. Developing architecture, design and document of monitoring solutions
5. Developing effective relationships with other key IT experts
6. Gradually becoming a specialist in one or several products
7. Integrating Watch-Duty role and support Week-End releases and interventions
In this role, you will liaise with system engineering teams across various platforms (Linux, Windows, Mainframe, Cloud platforms, …) to understand their monitoring needs and enhance the existing infrastructure.
Your profile
8. Hold a master's degree in computer science or equivalent through experience
9. Demonstrate a proven interest in monitoring tools and Enterprise System Management solutions
10. Have at least five years of expertise with products like Tivoli Monitoring, IBM Netcool Omnibus, Splunk, Cribl, Dynatrace, or other monitoring solutions
11. Appreciate technical challenges while considering customer needs and requirements
12. Exhibit curiosity, openness to discussions, and willingness to engage in technical implementations across a broad range of technologies and solutions
13. Be methodical, well-structured, and proactive
14. Embrace new technologies and products while sharing current expertise with team members
15. Be a team player who values teamwork but can work independently
16. Be open to change and evolution
17. Have working experience in an Agile context
18. Capable of meeting strict deadlines and handling complex situations
19. Knowledgeable in Windows and Linux operating systems
20. Possess strong skills in scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, shell, and PowerShell
21. Fluent in English
