Core Responsibilities:Design and develop performant and scalable backend solutions in Java using Spring BootContribute to greenfield-style development projects in a modular, service-oriented environmentTranslate business needs into technical design in close collaboration with product and risk teamsApply clean coding principles, test-driven development, and pair programming practicesMaintain and evolve backend architecture following DDD and hexagonal patternsSupport CI/CD delivery pipelines and containerized deploymentsParticipate actively in code reviews, squad rituals, and design discussions
Essential Skills:6+ years of hands-on backend Java developmentExpert knowledge of Spring BootFamiliarity with Kafka for event-driven architectureSolid understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes)Proficient in RESTful APIs and relational databases (Oracle)Experience with TDD, pair programming, and modern SDLC practicesKnowledge of tools like Git, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, FortifyStrong communication skills and ability to deliver autonomously within agile squads
Desirable Skills:Experience in financial services or risk-related domainsUnderstanding of domain-driven design and monolith-to-modular transitionsBackground in CI/CD, DevSecOps, and security-first codingExposure to greenfield software architecture or legacy refactoring projectsPrior engagement with Spotify-model squad structures
