Work you'll do
Apply technical knowledge when assisting leadership in financial services clients' compliance and reporting projects
Manage a portfolio of financial services clients and handle their Hong Kong profits tax compliance matters including dispute resolution
Assist the team in identifying and developing solutions for financial services clients in view of changes in tax and accounting regulations in Hong Kong and globally
Assist the team in delivering a wide range of tax matters from compliance to planning with a focus on FSIE regime, Pillar 2 and Hong Kong's QDMTT issues for financial industry
Assist the team in handling Hong Kong and/or cross-border business tax related projects for financial services clients
Advise on a wide range of business tax matters from compliance to planning with a key focus on financial services clients
Understand and explain the tax implications of expansion, acquisition, divestment, and reorganization in local and international contexts
Work closely with other service lines and other Deloitte offices in Hong Kong or overseas to deliver cross-functional and/or cross-borders projects

We are looking for someone with
Bachelor's degree or above in tax, accounting, finance, law or other related disciplines
Professional accounting qualification or lawyer is required
Over 2 years of experience in tax function with CPA firms (Big 4 experience is preferred), law firms or large corporations with a key focus on financial services (Banking, insurance, asset management, and credit services)
Understanding of tax policies, rules and regulations
Strong analytical and highly commitment to quality client service
Strong consultation skills, communication skills, self-initiation, teamwork spirit and willingness to work under pressure
Be mature, proactive, committed, motivated with strong sense of teamwork
Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
Excellent leadership and business development skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including both technical and business writing, documentation and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Putonghua will be an advantage
