Your mission:
You are responsible for promoting and providing information to medical specialists and non specialists.
You visit ophthalmologists (75%), general practitioners (15%) and you sell directly to opticians (10%).
Customer and relationship management
* Managing the customer database;
* Actively identifying and recruiting new potential customers within the region;
* Scheduling appointments and actively visiting customers and prospects;
* Informing and advising customers and prospects about the product range;
* Effective use of promotional activities, promotional materials and the available budget with customers;
* Organizing product presentations and training sessions for customers to increase knowledge of your products;
* Giving presentations and information sessions during working days, evenings or weekends, depending on customer needs;
* Acting as a knowledge partner and advisor for customers to support them in the application of your products;
* Actively participate in trade fairs and conferences to inform existing customers and build new relationships;
* Building and maintaining professional relationships and partnerships with customers to optimise sales results;
* Accepting and handling customer inquiries;
* Handling complaints;
* Maintaining customer data and visit reports in the ERP system;
* Maintaining and registering incoming and outgoing medical and OTC samples.
Management reports
* Processing data from various systems;
* Drawing up planning and analyses;
* Drawing up findings and setting out follow-up actions;
* Signaling developments.
Drawing up reports for colleagues and/or higher management, for accountability, progress reporting, policy proposals or as input for policy formation.
Your Profile:
* Bachelor level of education and thinking or relevant work experience as hospital sales representative.
* Preferably experience within the pharmaceutical, medical, or ophthalmic industry.
* Dutch native speaker, fluent in English and French is an asset but not a must
* Results driven

* Willing to participate in scientific conferences and evening events.
