We are looking for an experienced Senior Database Administrator to join a long-term, high-responsibility infrastructure project in Belgium.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor database performance and ensure high availability and stability
* Define and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
* Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of database platforms
* Administer databases across on-premises and cloud environments
* Manage and support BI and middleware stack, including:
* Oracle Analytics
* WebLogic
* Apache HTTP Server
* Tomcat
* OBIEE, ODI, Oracle Analytics Server
* Design and implement suitable database infrastructure architectures
* Automate database administration tasks and produce performance reports
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong hands-on experience with Oracle, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQL (solid expertise in at least two of these)
* Good knowledge of MySQL High Availability / Disaster Recovery, such as:
* InnoDB Cluster / Replicaset / ClusterSet
* MySQL Replication
* Experience with ORDS, Apache HTTP, and Tomcat
* Strong background with Linux / UNIX and Windows Server
* Experience with HA/DR architectures, clustering, and virtual infrastructures
* Proven experience in enterprise or high-security environments

* Location: Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium
* Work model: Full-time on-site
* Occasional business travel within Belgium may be required
* Security clearance is required (Existing national or equivalent clearance is a strong advantage and may facilitate the process)
