About the Role
RELYzIT Talent is seeking a BIM - Technical Specialist OSLO (Freelance) to join our client's mission-critical project in BrusselsNorway. In this role, you will drive the development and implementation of the Object Type Library (OTL), shaping the future of asset management and BIM applications for infrastructure projects. Your expertise will directly impact the standardization and digital transformation of infrastructure in Flanders, ensuring data models are robust, scalable, and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and refinement of the Object Type Library (OTL), ensuring all asset definitions, properties, and relationships are globally valid and practically implementable.
Consult with asset owners, domain experts, and data stakeholders to establish unique, standardized definitions for terrain objects/assets.
Design and deliver semantic data models that support both asset management and BIM applications, aligned with industry standards and guidelines.
Ensure all modeling adheres to established data standardization processes, methodologies, and modeling guidelines.
Maintain a holistic overview of the object library, ensuring consistency and scalability across the asset portfolio.
Translate asset definitions into implementation-ready models, supporting their integration into standard specifications (250, 260, 270) and BIM guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the OTL aligns with evolving business and technical requirements.
Drive business and data-related analyses to inform modeling decisions and optimize asset information management.
Manage and mentor team members, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Technical Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience in BIM, OTL modeling, or similar technologies.
At least 3 years of experience in business and data-related analyses.
At least 3 years of experience in team management within technical or engineering environments.
Experience with existing standards and norms in infrastructure projects (Standard Specifications, Design Guidelines, GRB, IMKL, BIM standards, etc.) – minimum 2 years.
Experience with Asset Management or Asset Information Management across asset lifecycles – minimum 2 years.
Experience with BIM software applications and associated workflows – minimum 2 years.
Higher education (Bachelor or Master) in a technical/engineering field, or equivalent experience with ICT technology relevant to the role.
Language Proficiency
Fluency in Dutch at European CEFR level C2 is required.
