We are looking for a talented and proactive Quality Manager to join our team in Latin America. If you have a passion for the renewable energy industry and experience in ensuring the highest quality standards, this is the opportunity for you!
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the entire quality lifecycle of our suppliers in the region, from evaluation and qualification to continuous supervision and problem-solving.
Main Responsibilities:
Support the handling of quality issues during the fulfillment and after-sales stages:
* Register customer complaint issues on the platform within two days after receipt;
* Reply to PM and After Sales in time;
* Go to the project site to investigate the cause of defect or confirm the defect situation if necessary
* Connect the responsible departments to provide temporary solutions or RCA report to PM timely if needed
Also:
• Quality Audits: Conduct quality system (ISO 9001), process, and product audits to ensure new suppliers and materials meet our stringent requirements.
• Product Approval (PPAP): Manage the sample approval process for new products and complete the material PPAP process, signing off on quality agreements with the R&D department.
• Production Supervision: Oversee supplier production, including incoming materials, manufacturing processes, warehousing, and shipment, and prepare daily supervision and outgoing reports.
• Non-Conformance Management: Promptly address and resolve quality issues from suppliers, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented effectively and tracked until closure.
• Regional Support: Assist in handling quality issues for inventory in Latin America (e.g., packaging, rust, material shortages) and manage project quality complaints by investigating root causes and following up on solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain clear communication with Procurement, Logistics, and Project Management departments.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of work experience, preferably in the PV, new energy, or a related industry.
• Proficient in ISO 9001 quality systems, supplier management, and project quality management.
• Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) is required. Basic communication skills in Chinese are a plus.
• Knowledge of industry standards and experience with solar plants.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the Latin America region.
• Target-oriented mindset, self-motivation, and excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
