Lifting Supervisor – Belgium (Offshore Project)
We are currently recruiting experienced Lifting Supervisors for a rotational offshore project based in Belgium. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in lifting operations and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards in demanding environments.
Rotation Pattern:
5 weeks on / 5 weeks off
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on site
* Ensure compliance with lifting plans, procedures, and safety regulations
* Conduct pre-lift briefings and risk assessments
* Monitor equipment use in line with LOLER standards
* Liaise with crane operators, riggers, and site management
* Promote a strong safety culture across all activities
Requirements:
* Valid GWO certification
* OGUK or NOGEPA medical
* HUET certification
* LOLER or CPCS qualification
* Previous experience in offshore or heavy lifting operations
* EU or UK nationality with the right to work in Europe
Compliance Requirement:
A valid A1 certificate is required for this assignment (UK applicants can obtain this via HM Revenue & Customs).
