As
a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for realizing innovative and cost‑effective product solutions on an
international level, tailored to the needs of our
customers worldwide. You will combine deep
technical expertise
with market insight and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders in different countries to create and continuously optimize the best product portfolio. You will report directly to the
Director New Business ,
Sales & Marketing
and play a key role within the
international Sales team
of our
global organisation. Responsibilities
Product leadership: Determining and monitoring raw material and product quality; Preparation of product specifications and recipes; Managing extensive product and process knowledge; Inventing innovative applications for new markets; Tracking trends and innovations in materials and processing technology Stakeholder intimacy: Defining product and customer requirements together with customers; Identify bottlenecks in customer processes and provide technical support; Stimulating knowledge sharing within the organization; Working on structural reduction of the TCO for customers Profitable growth: Providing commercial support in the realization of new business; Insight into costs and margins, with a focus on continuous improvement; Responsible for quality improvements to prevent complaints; Reporting on pre‑agreed KPIs What do you bring?
Completed HBO education, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Process Technology, Rubber Technology or a related technical field of study Or an equivalent level obtained through relevant work experience in the chemical or rubber processing industry At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position In‑depth knowledge of production processes and material properties Strong communication skills, both internally and externally Fluent in English Willing to travel regularly, both within and outside Europe (25%) Competencies we value
