As a Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the development team and taking ownership of the technical direction of the project. You’ll combine your expertise in both PHP and React.js to drive the development of scalable, high-performance mapping solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional development team, ensuring code quality, best practices, and adherence to architectural principles.
* Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable architectures for mapping applications, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with both front-end and back-end systems.
* Code Review & Best Practices: Oversee code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the adoption of coding standards and best practices (e.g., SOLID principles, TDD, CI/CD).
* Full Stack Development: Work hands-on in both front-end (React.js) and back-end (PHP) development, contributing to critical features and resolving complex technical issues.
* Performance Optimization: Focus on optimizing both server-side and client-side performance to handle large-scale mapping data and real-time geospatial updates.
Technical Skills & Experience:
* Proven Experience as a Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, or in a similar leadership role.
* Strong proficiency in PHP and experience working with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) to develop back-end services.
* Expertise in front-end development with React.js, including state management (e.g., Redux), component-based design, and building scalable applications.
* Experience with Geospatial Technologies: Familiarity with geospatial data formats (GeoJSON, KML), mapping libraries (e.g., Leaflet, OpenLayers, Mapbox), or GIS tools is a plus.
* Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating with product teams to deliver incremental value.
* Version Control: Advanced proficiency with Git for version control and code collaboration.
