DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Write and maintain high-quality, efficient code that meets project requirements and technical standards;
2. Develop and oversee quality assurance procedures, including testing strategies and methodologies to ensure reliable software delivery;
3. Analyse technical requirements and translate them into functional code and solutions;
4. Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment and progress towards project goals;
5. Document all aspects of the development process, including code changes, development workflows, and technical specifications for future reference and maintenance;
6. Integrate various software components and ensure their interoperability;
7. Conduct thorough testing of software to identify, troubleshoot, and fix issues, ensuring a high level of functionality and performance;
8. Implement and promote best coding practices across the project to ensure code quality and maintainability;
9. Identify areas for improvement and propose revisions to enhance existing projects;
10. Analyse technical requirements and adapt code to align with these needs, ensuring robustness and scalability.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
1. Experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, and ASP.NET Core for building web applications and services;
2. Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, Typescript and React and NextJS;
3. Experience with headless CMS such as Strapi;
4. Experience of Nginx;
5. Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests;
6. Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit) and test-driven development (TDD);
7. Experience with automated testing tools;
8. Has an understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Github Actions, Jenkins);
9. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS;
10. Skills in profiling, debugging, and web front ends for performance and scalability.
