Senior Business Controller – Brussels Region
We are currently seeking a highly driven and strategic Senior Business Controller to join a fast-paced, technology-driven organization in the Brussels region.
In this role, you will act as a key financial partner to senior leadership, taking ownership of business performance, driving financial planning processes, and delivering insights that directly influence strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
* Own and further develop management reporting and KPI dashboards
* Analyze business performance across revenue streams, margins, and cost structures
* Provide strategic insights and challenge business decisions with data-driven analysis
* Drive profitability, scenario modeling, and investment analysis
* Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and propose corrective actions
* Support and coach junior controllers where applicable
* Lead initiatives around process optimization, automation, and digitalization (Power BI, ERP, etc.)
* Act as a trusted finance business partner to senior stakeholders
Profile Requirements:
* Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
* 5–8+ years of experience in controlling, FP&A, or financial analysis
* Strong analytical and strategic mindset
* Advanced Excel skills and strong experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
* Solid experience with ERP systems
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proven ability to influence decision-making at management level
* Proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented
