To support the growth of our client’s international trading activities, we are looking for a commercially driven professional with proven experience in steel trading. Your responsibilities
As a Steel Trader, you will play a key role in expanding and managing a profitable customer portfolio. Your main tasks include:
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and suppliers.
* Actively identifying opportunities and converting them into sales.
* Traveling regularly to visit existing clients and prospect new ones in international markets.
* Reporting sales results, market trends, and customer feedback directly to the Managing Director.
Your profile
* You have a proven track record in steel trading and understand the dynamics of international trade.
* Your background is commercial, technical or logistics-oriented.
* You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Negotiation is one of your strongest assets.
* You are proactive, curious, and solution-oriented.
* You have an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive on challenges.
* You’re comfortable working independently, especially during international prospecting.
* You are persistent and always attuned to the evolving needs of your clients.
* You are fluent in English and French; knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage.
