Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a Medior Process Engineer to join its consulting team.
As consultant, you will support one of our client in the industry and support process-related projects. Not only will you work on diversified and challenging topics, but we will also support your growth and development through a specific follow-up from one of our Business Manager and the possibility to benefit from specific trainings related to your career objectives.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
* Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot industrial processes to improve efficiency, safety, and reliability.
* Perform process simulations, mass and energy balances, and technical calculations.
* Prepare and review process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and process specifications.
* Support feasibility studies, conceptual design, basic engineering, and detailed engineering phases.
* Collaborate with project engineers, safety teams, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements.
* Participate in HAZOP, risk assessments, and other process safety reviews.
* Provide technical support during commissioning, start-up, and operational phases.
* Analyze process deviations and proactively propose improvement actions.
* Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for technical clarifications and equipment specifications.
ABOUT YOU:
* You have a Master's degree in electromechanical, chemical, or bioscience engineering
* You have at least 4 years of experience in the pharma, chemicals, food & beverage, or gas renewables sector
* You are fluent in French and English
* You are willing to travel up to one hour around your place for your project
