1. Function Title Music Intern – Artist Development & Music Support 2. Purpose of the Function The Music Intern supports the musical, educational, and artistic activities of Pacson Music School. The role focuses on music preparation, transposition, artist support, and assistance to teachers, contributing to the development of students and emerging artists in a professional learning environment. 3. Main Responsibilities Musical Support Transpose songs into different keys and adapt material to various vocal ranges and instruments Prepare lead sheets, chord charts, and basic scores Assist with repertoire selection and musical preparation Artist & Rehearsal Support Support singers and musicians during rehearsals and coaching sessions Assist with songwriting, arrangements, and demo preparation Help prepare artists for performances, recordings, and workshops Teaching Support Assist teachers with lesson preparation and musical materials Support the creation of exercises, practice tracks, and learning tools Help analyze musical progress and adapt materials when needed Studio & Workshop Support Assist during group lessons, individual lessons, and workshops Help with session organization and musical logistics Support recordings and basic studio-related tasks when required 4. Profile & Skills Required Music student or recent graduate (music school, conservatory, or university) Strong musical ear and excellent transposition skills Solid understanding of harmony, rhythm, and song structure Piano skills are a strong asset Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Comfortable working with singers and artists Good communication skills English required; French is an asset 5.
